The 2017 SHRM Leadership Development Forum equips human resource (HR) management professionals with the necessary tools to become effective leaders and expand their influence. A strong sense of leadership and a strategic mindset are vital regardless of one’s job duties or experience level, making these characteristics an essential aspect of professional development. SHRM’s conference enables business leaders to build on these skills to fulfill HR functions, establish credibility as leaders, and motivate others to achieve organizational objectives.
Professional development and learning tracks include concurrent sessions, seminars, and networking events on an assortment of leadership, HR management, and business partnership topics. Attendees may also participate in a variety of educational opportunities that offer recertification credits for mid-level and senior-level personnel. Furthermore, the SHRM Coaching Center allows attendees to engage in 50-minute one-on-one coaching sessions designed to improve self-awareness of strengths and weaknesses.
Conference registration varies fees according to membership with the SHRM and do not include optional education opportunities or the SHRM Coaching Center. Discounted registration rates are available until July 21, 2017 and those who register after September 16, 2017 are subject to late registration fees.
The 2017 SHRM Leadership Development Forum will take place in Phoenix, Arizona on October 2 through October 4, 2017.
